Throughout his career, he has combined executive management with academic leadership, serving in senior university administration roles including Pro-Rector positions and strategic advisory functions. MARCOS EDUARDO ELIAS
Founder, Architect & Senior Research Fellow (non Executive position)
Marcos Eduardo Elias is a Brazilian mathematician, theoretical computer scientist and entrepreneur with over three decades of experience across academia and the financial sector. Holding two PhDs in Mathematics and one in Computer Science, his work reflects a sustained commitment to foundational research in computation, mathematical structures and complex systems.
Throughout his career, Marcos has bridged rigorous theoretical inquiry with applied strategic innovation. In the financial sector, he co-founded Empiricus Research and contributed to the development of quantitative investment strategies and advanced risk methodologies. His trajectory combines formal mathematical reasoning with practical decision-making frameworks.
As Founder and Architect of Holosystems, Marcos provides the conceptual and scientific foundations that guide the company’s long-term research direction. His work focuses on advanced computational architectures, including the integration of probabilistic reasoning, fuzzy logic and quantum-era methodologies designed to operate within the constraints of Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) systems.

TIAGO AMARO
COO
Tiago Amaro de Souza is a Brazilian executive with over 20 years of experience in the mining sector, combining deep legal expertise with strategic operational leadership. With a background in Mining Law and technical training in mining and engineering, his work integrates regulatory, environmental and corporate dimensions of mineral operations.
He is the founder and senior partner of a law firm specialised in mining, where he has advised companies, investors and stakeholders on complex matters involving mineral rights, environmental licensing, regulatory compliance and corporate structuring. His experience includes leading legal strategies, managing high-stakes litigation and structuring mining projects from a regulatory and operational perspective.
Throughout his career, Tiago has maintained direct engagement with key regulatory bodies, including the National Mining Agency and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, developing a strong understanding of institutional processes and sector-specific governance.
At Holosystems, as Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for operational execution, regulatory alignment and the integration of technological solutions within real-world mining environments.
